PROVO (AP) — Tyler Haws scored 24 of his 31 points in the second half as BYU tied its season-high for points in a half by scoring 54 after the intermission to beat Loyola Marymount 91-68 Saturday night.

Alex Osborne hit 1 of 2 free throws to tie the game at 58 with 11:47 to play, but BYU (11-7, 3-2 West Coast) used a 24-5 run to take control. Haws scored 13 during that stretch.

LMU (10-8, 2-4) took a 38-37 advantage into halftime but BYU made 17 of 27 (63 percent) field goals in the final 20 minutes while turning nine LMU turnovers into 15 points. The Lions made just 1 of 6 (16.7 percent) 3-pointers and 7 of 12 (58.3 percent) free throws in the second frame.

Kyle Collinsworth finished with 20 points, nine rebounds and five assists for BYU. Matt Carlino scored 18.

Anthony Ireland paced LMU with 17 points.
