LOS ANGELES (AP) — The Latest on the search for a missing 5-year-old boy in Southern California (all times local):

5 p.m.

The father of a 5-year-old boy missing in California has been released from jail days after he was arrested on suspicion of child endangerment and child abduction.

Los Angeles County sheriff's officials say Aramazd (AHR'-uh-mahz) Andressian Sr. was released Tuesday.

He was arrested Saturday and was being held on $10 million bail.

Sheriff's officials say detectives decided not to present the case to the district attorney's office to file charges.

Andressian's attorney, Rebecca Lizarraga, says her client has fully cooperated with police and that his family is "emotionally reeling" because of the boy's disappearance.

Investigators have been searching for Aramazd Andressian Jr. since his father was found unconscious at a park in South Pasadena on Saturday.

He shares custody of the boy with his estranged wife, but failed to drop him off on Saturday.

Homicide detectives are searching a lake in Santa Barbara County for a missing 5-year-old boy whose father was arrested after being found unconscious at a Southern California park.

Los Angeles County sheriff's Lt. Joe Mendoza says investigators began searching Cachuma Lake on Tuesday morning.

Investigators began looking for Aramazd Andressian Jr. after his father was found unconscious Saturday at a South Pasadena park. Police said the boy was last seen April 18.

Detectives believe the boy's father, Aramazd Andressian Sr., was at the lake on April 21. It's about 120 miles (193 kilometers) northwest of Los Angeles.

A dive team and canine units are searching for any evidence that could lead to the boy.

Andressian was arrested on suspicion of child endangerment. It isn't clear if he has an attorney.
