GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. (AP) — Authorities say five people have died in an early morning house fire in Georgia's Gwinnett (gwih-NEHT') County.
The blaze happened in a 2-story house in an unincorporated part of Duluth.
Fire officials tell WSB-TV that a neighbor called 911 to report the fire. When firefighters got there flames were so intense they had to battle the blaze from the outside for 45 minutes before being able to get inside.
Investigators are still trying to determine what started the fire, although neighbors reported that the family had been using their fire pit on Saturday night.
