LAS VEGAS (AP) — Police say a man was the victim of a fatal drive-by shooting on a Las Vegas street.
Authorities say officers were called around 11 p.m. Saturday and found a man lying on the sidewalk near Palm and Olive streets.
The man had multiple gunshot wounds.
He later succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
Investigators have determined the victim was walking when he was approached by a light-colored, possibly newer model four-door sedan.
An occupant in the vehicle fired at him several times.
The car then fled eastbound on Olive Street at a high rate of speed.
The victim's body has been turned over to the Clark County Coroner's Office, which will determine the identity and cause of death.
Police have not identified a suspect or a motive.
