KUNA, Idaho (AP) — The body of a 22-year-old Boise man has been recovered from the Snake River near Swan Falls Dam in southwestern Idaho.
Officials say Devin Mazac's body came to the surface Wednesday about 100 yards from where he fell into the river on Sunday while fishing.
Ada County Sheriff's Office spokesman Patrick Orr says a county dive team was called in to remove the body as it was within Ada County limits.
Witnesses told authorities that Mazac was fishing with two other men when he slipped and fell into the water.
Witnesses say he resurfaced about 15 yards downstream but went under again and didn't resurface.
Crews using sonar failed to find him.
