CLINTON, La. (AP) — Louisiana State police say four people died, including a 1-year-old, in a fiery head-on Memorial Day crash.

The accident happened late Monday night on Louisiana Highway 67 in East Feliciana Parish north of Baton Rouge.

Trooper Bryan Lee identified the dead as 22-year-old Brandon Temple and 24-year-old Jakyle Hall, both of Norwood, and 19-year-old Holley Thomas and 1-year-old Hazel Temple, both of Denham Springs.

Lee says Brandon Temple was northbound when began to pass two vehicles in a no passing zone while approaching a hill. At the top of the hill, he says Temple's pickup struck Hall's car head-on.

Lee says Thomas and Hazel Temper were passengers in truck. He says Hall was alone in his car.

Lee says 15 people died on Louisiana highways over the Memorial Day weekend.
