RENO, Nev. (AP) — Washoe County Sheriff's officials are investigating after a teen was found dead and another unconscious in a Lemmon Valley home.
The Reno Gazette-Journal reports (http://on.rgj.com/1QV5uTn) that sheriff's detectives released few details Friday.
Sheriff's spokesman Bob Harmon says deputies were called to the home Thursday evening and found both teenage boys.
One was pronounced dead by medical officials at the scene.
The second boy was taken to the hospital.
His condition was not immediately known Saturday.
Harmon says investigators are waiting on toxicology results and declined to say whether the death was suspicious.
Division of Child and Family Services administrator Kelly Wooldridge says the incident involved a possible drug overdose.
State health officials plan to make drug-testing kits available to parents at North Valleys High School in response to the incident.
