COUNCIL, Idaho (AP) — A semitrailer carrying thousands of pounds of smokeless gun powder has crashed on U.S. Highway 95 near the western Idaho city of Council.

No injuries were reported in the Monday crash.

Idaho State Police says Steven Blehm, of Lakewood, Colorado, had been headed north in a semitrailer pulling a flatbed trailer with a shipping container. The vehicle had gone around a corner, causing the trailer to go off the road and into a barrow pit. The vehicle tipped and came to rest at an angle.

The highway from Council to New Meadows had been blocked off for several hours as crews worked to clear the scene.
