JACKSON, Miss. (AP) — State Rep. Steve Holland is back at the Mississippi Capitol, less than two weeks after having surgery to repair an abdominal hernia.
The 60-year-old Democrat from Plantersville returned to work Monday and said he feels fine.
Holland underwent surgery Jan. 20 at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.
Holland started having health problems two years ago and has been hospitalized multiple times. In July, he was treated at North Mississippi Medical Center for an infection of the abdominal cavity.
