ST. GEORGE, Utah (AP) — St. George officials say part of the roof of a waste water processing facility has collapsed.
A city news release says the roof caved in late Sunday, causing an estimated $200,000 of damage.
City officials say it appears that a structural failure caused the collapse, but the investigation is ongoing.
Officials say the facility is currently unable to process any sludge but the plant will continue its operations without interruption. Waste service officials say they have storage space for a month or so of sludge.
No one was injured.
