RENO, Nev. (AP) — The Washoe County Sheriff's Office is investigating a man's death in western Nevada.

Spokesman Bob Harmon says deputies found the man's body Friday night after responding to reports that shots had been fired in Washoe County's Sun Valley.

He said regional gang enforcement is helping with the investigation, but that it's too early to determine whether the gunshots and man's death were gang-related.

Harmon said the victim's identity is being withheld while the medical examiner investigates the cause of death.
