ELKO, Nev. (AP) — Authorities continue to look for one of two teenagers who escaped from a juvenile justice center in Elko County.
Elko County Undersheriff Clair Morris says one of the teens was apprehended about 90 minutes after they walked out of the Nevada Youth Training Center east of Elko about 8 p.m. Monday.
Still missing is a 16-year-old white male described as 5-foot-8, 140 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He last was seen wearing a white t-shirt, gray shorts and black shoes.
Morris told the Elko Daily Free Press (http://tinyurl.com/puhl9ah) both juveniles are from the Reno-Sparks area and may have had plans to return there. She says Elko police and Nevada state troopers are assisting in the search.
