WEST VALLEY, Utah (AP) — Police are investigating the death of a man whose body was found in a West Valley home early Saturday.

KUTV in Salt Lake City reports (http://bit.do/7ZNP) that several reports of shots being fired from the home came to police around 1:15 a.m.

Responding officers found the front door open but no response from anyone inside.

Police then found the man's body.

Sgt. Justin Wycoff told the Salt Lake Tribune that the man's body showed signs of obvious trauma but it's not clear yet if his death was a homicide or not.

Wycoff did not release his identity but said the victim is between 20 and 30 years old.
