NAMPA, Idaho (AP) — A woman has been attacked by a pot-bellied pig in Nampa.
The Idaho Press-Tribune reports (http://bit.ly/1K1Jrek ) Canyon County spokesman Joe Decker says the woman was knocked down and bitten by the pig Thursday morning. Decker says the size of the pig and the extent of her injuries are unknown.
Decker says the pig had escaped from its enclosure and attacked a neighbor who had been on the owner's property.
The owner took the pig to a veterinarian, and it was euthanized. The animal's head is expected to be taken to the Idaho Department of Agriculture Friday to be tested for rabies.
