TWIN FALLS, Idaho (AP) — Investigators have identified a possible suspect in the case of Tigre Martinez, a man found dead earlier this week.
The Times-News reports (http://bit.ly/1G7lyTj ) police arrested 31-year-old Caleb Hinton and he appeared Thursday in Twin Falls County Magistrate Court on a charge of aggravated battery.
The victim's neighbor says he saw Hinton and another man leaving Martinez' home Tuesday and loading property from the house into a vehicle parked nearby. The neighbor says he saw Hinton with a handgun.
A roommate in the home found Martinez dead four hours later.
Police found Hinton Wednesday. In an interview, Hinton admitted to robbing and fighting Martinez hours before the man had been found dead.
A preliminary hearing for Hinton is set for June 5.
