COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho (AP) — Idaho State Police say a 49-year-old Lewiston man has died after the truck and log trailer he was driving crashed on State Highway 6 in north Idaho.

Police say the truck driven by Danny Boyd hit a concrete barrier Tuesday morning, causing the trailer full of logs to separate from the truck.

The truck left the road, plunged down an embankment, overturned and wound up submerged in 5 feet of water.

Police say the crash is under investigation.
