HANSEN, Idaho (AP) — Idaho State Police say two people were killed in a crash involving a car and an Idaho Department of Transportation snowplow on U.S. 30 in Hansen.
Police said the driver and front-seat passenger in a Honda Accord died at the scene Friday afternoon. Another passenger in that car was flown by air to a Boise hospital. The Times-News reports he was treated and released.
State police said the driver of the car stopped at a stop sign at the intersection of U.S. 30 and then pulled out in front of a snowplow. Both vehicles went off the road, striking a power pole.
