ROCKFORD, Ill. (AP) — A coroner says autopsies are planned for four people, including two young children, fatally shot in the northern Illinois community of Rockford.

Police say a mother, her boyfriend and her two boys were found dead in a red-brick duplex late Saturday. The Rockford Register Star reports (http://bit.ly/1sNJE9O ) authorities identified the victims as 24-year-old Martia Flint, 24-year-old Demontae Rhodes, 6-year-old Tyrone Smith III and 4-year-old Tobias K. Smith.

The Winnebago County coroner says autopsies will take place Monday.

Assistant Deputy Chief Patrick Hoey says neighbors reported hearing pounding on a door and someone forcing the door open before gunshots rang out.

No arrests have been made and the motive is unknown.

Family gathered at Flint's grandmother's house Sunday. They remembered her as a devoted mother and Rhodes as a good boyfriend.
