SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Police are searching for two suspects in the shooting death of a man in Salt Lake City.
Police say a passenger exited from a car and began talking to the victim on a sidewalk late Friday afternoon.
The passenger pulled out a handgun a few moments later and fatally shot the man. The passenger and driver then fled in the car.
The victim's name was not immediately released.
Police have released images of the suspects' car and the gunman, and are asking for the public's help in locating them.
The gold-colored, four-door car was described as possibly a Mazda. One of the suspects was described as a Latino man in his early 30s, while the other was described as a man of about the same age but unknown race.
