NEW YORK (AP) — First comes turkey, then flossing. Then 54,000 dentists will descend on New York's Jacob K. Javits Convention Center for a post-Thanksgiving conference.
The Greater New York Dental Meeting starts Friday and ends Dec. 3.
The city's official tourism agency, NYC & Company, says it's the largest dental meeting in the United States.
There will be sessions on challenges facing the female dentist and on how dentists can use Botox and other dermal fillers in their practices.
The president of NYC & Company, Fred Dixon, says the Greater New York Dental Meeting is an ideal opportunity for professionals from around the world to experience New York's hotels, restaurants and attractions.
