RIVERTON, Wyo. (AP) — Riverton's Branch Library will soon get help with its leaky roof.
Fremont County commissioners are hiring architects and engineers to design the work.
According to the Riverton Ranger (http://tinyurl.com/m6tcsvq ), the Riverton library's roof has leaked for years, posing a threat to the shelves and books underneath. Staffers have often resorted to covering stacks with tarps and placing buckets to catch drips.
The library has received a $570,000 grant through one State Loan and Investment Board program and has applied for $320,000 from another. The county has committed $250,000.
