SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. (AP) — Hundreds of people attended a fundraiser Wednesday night in Spokane Valley to celebrate the life of Jeremy McSpadden, the 18-year-old who was run over by a bus while he was working at a corn maze in northern Idaho.
KXLY reports (http://bit.ly/103oE6O ) money from the event at the Bumpers Fun Center will help the McSpadden family cover funeral costs and set up a scholarship fund in Jeremy's name.
McSpadden was a role player in the "Zombie Slayer Paintball Bus" attraction Oct. 10 when witnesses say he tripped and fell under the rear tires.
The Incredible Corn Maze at Hauser, Idaho, closed for a week following the death then reopened and closed for good on Monday.
