LAS VEGAS (AP) — A Las Vegas man has been arrested for attempted murder after police say he attacked 10 people with a hammer during an hour-long spree in Boulder City and Henderson.

Henderson police spokesman Keith Paul said Damien Robins faces six counts of attempted murder and one count of assault with a deadly weapon. He said none of the injuries appear to be life-threatening.

Police say the string of attacks with a one-handed sledgehammer began with his assault of a woman in a car in a convenience store parking lot about 8 p.m. Friday. He also allegedly attacked two people in a lot at an auto parts store before running three motorists off the road and attacking them.

He fled when police responded to another attack at Foothill High School before surrendering about 9 p.m.
