LAS VEGAS (AP) — Authorities have identified an 18-year-old woman killed when an apparent getaway vehicle slammed into a light pole and a tree in Las Vegas.

Clark County coroner's officials say Rajaunay Lasherie Davis of North Las Vegas was pronounced dead on the scene of the crash, which happened about 11:30 p.m. Wednesday on South Fort Apache Road, near Sahara Avenue.

A 20-year-old Las Vegas woman who was also in the car was taken to University Medical Center with moderate injuries.

Police say the Chevy Aveo was reportedly involved in the burglary of a nearby convenience store.

The male driver and a male passenger in the car fled the scene on foot after the car went off the road. It was unclear if they were injured.
