OGDEN, Utah (AP) — A 22-year-old woman has been arrested in the stabbing death of her partner in Ogden.

Victoria Mendoza is accused of stabbing 21-year-old Tawnee Baird in a parking lot early Saturday.

The two women had lived together as domestic partners in the Holladay area, and investigators believe the stabbing was the result of an argument.

Police say they were visiting friends in the Ogden area, and the argument might have started as they were driving.

Mendoza contacted a family member, who then called police.

Mendoza was booked into the Weber County jail on suspicion of murder.
