HUNTSVILLE, Utah (AP) — Four vehicles have been pulled out of Pineview Reservoir east of Ogden by divers.

Weber County sheriff's deputies say a recent test of sonar equipment turned up the vehicles, and three of them fished out Saturday may have been in the water since the 1990s.

The vehicles were submerged under 30 to 40 feet of water about 30 to 50 feet from shore.

One of the recovered vehicles, a Toyota 4Runner, was reported stolen from Ogden on Aug. 30.

Investigators are trying to determine how the vehicles ended up in the reservoir and if the oldest three vehicles were reported stolen as well.

Those vehicles had registrations or license plates that expired in the 1990s.

A fifth submerged vehicle will later be pulled from the reservoir.
