LAS VEGAS (AP) — Authorities have identified a 36-year-old man found shot dead earlier this week east of downtown Las Vegas.

Clark County coroner's officials say Manuel Guadalupe Acosta died of a gunshot wound to the chest late Wednesday.

Police say they responded to reports of a shooting about 11 p.m. and found Acosta lying near the sidewalk at Eastern Avenue and Fremont Street.

Detectives say it appears three male suspects approached Acosta around the time he was shot and then fled the scene.

The suspects are described as males who are about 20 years old. Police say one of them was seen riding away on a bicycle.
