FORT LEAVENWORTH, Kan. (AP) — Three military officers have been chosen for induction into the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College International Hall of Fame at Fort Leavenworth.

The officers were selected for their career accomplishments following completion of the advanced military studies program at the northeast Kansas post. They will be inducted during a ceremony May 1.

The honorees are Gen. Gaurav S.J.B. Rana, of Nepal; Gen. Werner Freers, of Germany; and Brig. Gen. Indrek Sirel, of Estonia.

The hall of fame recognizes graduates of the Command and General Staff College who go on to serve as the senior officer in one of their nation's military branches or as a senior officer in their nation's defense establishment.
