Police probe student death at Philly college

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — A Philadelphia college is confirming that a student has died but is releasing few details about his death.

Chestnut Hill said the college community was morning the loss Wednesday of senior business major Bradley David Amerman, 22, of Mount Joy.

Officials said the death is under investigation by city police "which is normal under these circumstances."

Police told WCAU-TV reported that medics were called to the college at about 8:45 a.m. Wednesday on a report of an unresponsive student in St. Joseph's Hall.

Investigators said student was pronounced dead at the scene.

Funeral arrangements have not been completed.
