LAS VEGAS (AP) — Authorities have identified a 25-year-old man who was fatally shot over the weekend in the northeastern part of Las Vegas.
Clark County coroner's officials say Eric Ruis died at University Medical Center with a gunshot wound to the abdomen.
Police say Ruis was found lying on the ground in a parking lot on the 6900 block of Appleton Drive a little before 9 p.m. Saturday. He was taken to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Police say there had been an argument in the vicinity and gunshots rang out just before Ruis was found.
Officers say they haven't identified suspects and don't yet have a motive for the shooting.
