BOUNTIFUL, Utah (AP) — About 75 people gathered in Bountiful to protest a local clinic's advertising mailer they considered to be pornographic.
Protesters say they found the mailer featuring the image of a partially covered nude woman offensive and in violation of the community standard in Davis County.
Pamela Atkinson of the Utah Coalition Against Pornography told the crowd on Friday it was wrong to send out a "semi-pornographic" flier to homes where children could see it.
Wade Laser Clinic has apologized for sending out the mass mailer advertising its breast augmentation and liposuction services.
Marketing manager Dave Wade told the Deseret News the clinic is embarrassed about it and is taking steps to ensure there's no repeat.
