TO BUSINESS, EDUCATION, AND TECHNOLOGY EDITORS:

Taylor ISD Taps into the Power of TEAMST to Reduce Paper and Redundant

Inputting of Data

AUSTIN, Texas, April 17, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Prologic Technology

Systems, Inc. announced the completion of a contract with Taylor ISD

to provide its TEAMST consolidated Business and Student Information

System. TEAMS eliminates the time-consuming redundant inputting of

data from one program to another by automatically sharing key

information with other applications within the system---making the

latest, up-to-the-minute data always available to users.

"There are many productivity gains we're excited about with our

upgrade to TEAMS," stated Bill Mikulencak, Business Manager for Taylor

ISD. "One is the fact that we can finally get rid of file cabinets

full of paper by simply scanning documents directly into the system,"

added Mikulencak. "The other is TEAMS' ability to manage our early

college high school data within the same system as our general high

school student data. This feature, alone, will save us countless hours

of redundant inputting each month and improve our overall reporting

capability," concluded Mikulencak.

TEAMS offers K-12 districts the first consolidated business and

student information system that sits atop a single, relational

database for continuous updates to programs as data is entered into

the system. And, since the system components originate from the same

code base, users experience speed and work flow efficiencies that are

unmatched by any other system on the market today.

"When people see a demo of TEAMS, they are usually blown away by how

freely it shares data from one application to another, and how many

built-in efficiencies are inherent to the system," stated Jeff Pepper,

Vice President at Prologic. "We're continuously evolving TEAMS, not

only to make it easier to manage today's student and financial data,

but to also support districts with the technology necessary for the

data-based decision making requirements of tomorrow," concluded

Pepper.

TEAMS is offered as a traditional license or as a fully managed,

cloud-based solution. Both options provide the full suite of business

applications including human resources and payroll; a robust student

information system with state reporting built into the system for

PEIMS, TREx, TAKS, TELPAS, TRS and TSDS; and an easy-to-use parent

portal for improving communication among students, parents and

teachers.
