YPSILANTI, Mich. (AP) — Eastern Michigan University is hosting what it's billing as one of the state's largest job fairs for teachers.
The Ypsilanti school says 130 employers are expected to attend the fair on Wednesday at Bowen Field House. The event includes in-state opportunities as well as recruiters representing employers from other states.
Recruiters will be conducting brief interviews with candidates, who are encouraged to dress in business attire and bring copies of their resume.
The fair is open to all teacher candidates who have completed at least one semester of student teaching by June 2014. Candidates who have obtained a teaching certificate also are welcome.
Cost is $20 at the door.
