LAS VEGAS (AP) — Passenger traffic at McCarran International Airport is on the rise compared with a year earlier.
Data released Thursday show nearly 3.1 million people arrived and departed from the Las Vegas airport in February. That's up 2.4 percent from February 2013.
The number of passengers flying domestically was up 2.2 percent, while international traffic was up 4 percent for the month.
Total airport traffic is up 3.9 percent so far this year compared with the same period in 2013.
McCarran ranks as the seventh-busiest airport nationally and 20th worldwide by passenger volume.
