CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were lower Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for Sept. fell 7.25 cents at $3.6325 a bushel; Sept. corn lost 7.75 cents to 3.04 a bushel; Sept. oats was off .25 cent at $1.6175 a bushel; while Sept. soybeans declined 17.75 cents to $9.6550 a bushel.
Beef and pork were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. August live cattle was up .75 cent at $1.1150 a pound; September feeder cattle advanced 3.37 cents to $1.4252 a pound; while October lean hogs rose .68 cent at $.6205 a pound.
