Grain lower, livestock higher

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were lower Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery was declined 17.25 cents at $4.5975 a bushel; May corn was 12 cents lower to 3.7825 a bushel; May oats fell 5.50 cents to $1.8675 a bushel; while May soybeans lost 14 cents to $10.2150 a bushel.

Beef and pork were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. June live cattle was up .57 cent to $1.1637 a pound; May feeder cattle rose 1.98 cents to $1.4340 a pound; while May lean hogs were .05 cent higher at $.7847 a pound.
