The budget allows bumping rookie teacher pay to $32,700 a year starting in July.

HAILEY, Idaho (AP) — A bond hearing has been set following the ordering of a new trial for a man sentenced to life in prison without parole after being convicted of the 1984 killing of his former wife. The Idaho Mountain Express reports in a story on Wednesday that 55-year-old Jaimi Dean Charboneau is scheduled to appear in 5th District Court on April 10. Judge Robert J. Elgee ordered a new trial for Charboneau last month after ruling that new evidence raised questions about Charboneau's culpability.
