NEW YORK (AP) — Innovation Economy rallied from last to win the $67,000 allowance feature by 6 1/4 lengths on Sunday at Aqueduct.
After taking a bump at the start, Innovation Economy dropped back to eighth before launching the stretch move that carried the 3-year-old to his second win in four starts.
Irad Ortiz, Jr. was aboard for trainer Chad Brown as the colt ran the 1 3/8 miles on the yielding turf in 2:22.80.
Innovation Economy paid $13.40, $7.10 and $4.40. Crown Thy Good got second, returning $11 and $7. Make a Decision paid $2.90 to show as the 5-2 favorite
