PARK CITY -- Fans had the chance to stargaze at Katie Holmes, Josh Duhamel, Fergie, Elijah Wood, Adam Brody and Malin Ackerman, all at Sundance Wednesday morning. They stopped for interviews with KSL.

The group attended the premiere of their movie "The Romantics" held just before noon at the Library Center Theatre.

The film is based on the book by Galt Niederhoffer, who also directed it. It's about a love triangle involving a groom, a bride and a maid of honor. Duhamel stars as the groom, Anna Paquin as his bride and Holmes as the maid of honor.

Akerman told a bit more about the plot: "Two of our friends are getting married and it's the night before the wedding, and there's a bit of alcohol and dancing and some secrets come out."

Off camera, it was nothing but love among the whole cast.

"Everyone that [was] cast is really talented and really nice, so it was like 'oh my,' and we walked away with friends," Holmes said.

Wood said filming got off to a quick start. "We only had about five days of prep and rehearsal before we started shooting, and that's a short amount of time to get to know people who are supposed to have a long-term foundation," he said.

According to the cast, building that foundation turned out to be easy. The movie's rural New York location helped to bring everyone closer. They hope it's reflected on the screen.

"I think that a lot of people [in their] late 20s, 30-somethings, will really relate to this movie," Duhamel said. Two screenings of the movie are sold-out, but there are still tickets for a third, playing in Ogden.
