CLINTON -- Two thieves in Clinton picked the wrong people to rob.
Police say Jay Taylor and Dalton Robert Jaques followed four people from a restaurant in Layton to a home in Clinton Friday night.
When the group got out of their car, the pair pulled a gun on them and demanded money. One of the would-be victims then distracrted the suspects and another grabbed the gun.
After a short fight, the suspects took off, crashing their vehicle a short distance away.
They were then taken into custody.
