(KSL News) Park City Police had their hands full during the Sundance Film Festival. Lieutenant Rick Ryan says they experienced a crime rate three times higher than usual during the festival.
One especially alarming crime involved two men who attempted to sexually assault a woman. Police say the two men tackled the woman in a park around 2:30 AM on January 24th. The woman managed to fight them off and get away unharmed.
Police also responded to death threats to the film makers of ‘Hounddog' and ‘Chapter 27'. Neither of the threats were carried out.
