(KSL News) A duo is in jail this morning after they reportedly robbed a Utah County restaurant yesterday.
Police arrested Ronald Hawkins, 24, and Tina Bushinski, 26, in connection with a strong arm robbery at the Sonic Drive-In at 971 North Main Street in Spanish Fork.
Officers say Hawkins used to work there, but this time forced his way past the manager, and took money from the register.
An officer in an unmarked car spotted the getaway car on I-15, and arrested the two when they stopped for gas in Springville.
Officers recovered the stolen money-- about $225.
