(KSL News) Icy conditions sent a car more than 30 feet off the road in Little Cottonwood Canyon today.
Salt Lake Sheriff's Deputies say the car was going too fast and hit a patch of black ice.
The car shot 30 to 40 feet off the edge of the road. The two people in the car were not injured.
Deputies say people accelerate too fast out of corners, which can cause them to lose control. They want to remind people to slow down.
