(KSL News) A Utah County teen received a national honor today for his volunteer work.

Congressman Chris Cannon gave Samuel Brady two awards in Provo. The 16 year old received the bronze and silver Congressional Awards for his volunteer work at Pleasant Grove's Space Education Center.

Samuel helped lead missions at the center for children in his school district.

He also helped several of his friends with Eagle Scout projects.
