Keith McCord ReportingThe NFL playoffs get underway this weekend to decide the final two teams which will meet in the Superbowl on February 4th.

The Superbowl is more than just a game; it's also an experience for those who go. Two Salt Lake companies are responsible for creating that experience.

Inside this huge printing facility in Salt Lake City, the "look" of Superbowl 41 is beginning to take shape! Giant pieces of fabric are being printed, pieced together, and rolled up sent to south Florida for the biggest one-day sporting event in the world.

Gene Chambers, Vision International Inc.: "We are producing over 320,000 square feet of materials, banners, fence wrap and so forth. Which will be about 3,500 individual pieces."

And in a few weeks, all those pieces will grace the airports, streets, hotels, media center, and the stadium. When anyone arrives in South Florida, they'll definitely know the Superbowl is coming to town!

Cameron Smith, Infinite Scale Design Group: "And what we hope in the outcome isn't just signs, but instead you "feel" them.. Feel the color, and how that relates to south Florida."

This is the work of two companies; Infinite Scale Design Group--which started creating the look way back in April! Vision International produces the actual pieces.

For our cameras, they unfurled this huge building wrap, this is one of eight pieces that will transform the Marriott Biscayne Bay Hotel--the NFL's headquarters for Superbowl week.

Cameron Smith: "This piece will be 225 feet tall, by 70 feet wide."

And here's how the hotel will appear when it's wrapped! The concept here is that the hotel will look like one of the end zone pylons.

While things are busy now, there will be a second rush in a few weeks. Graphics and banners are still needed for the Superbowl teams and they won't be known until January 21st, just two weeks before the big game.

Gene Chambers: "And that Monday morning at 3:00 AM, we'll start printing the graphics with the team logos on them."

And then, Superbowl 41 in South Florida will be ready. With plenty of help from Utah!

This is the third straight Superbowl that Vision International and Infinite Scale Design have worked on.

They also created the look and feel of the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake.
