Tom Kirkland ReportingFor almost two decades John, Karl and the Delta Center went together like the Jazz in the playoffs. Now there are whole new set of names to keep track up.

A new set of young stars setting records in the same venue as Stockton and Malone, but oh what a difference one name change can make; it's the #4 story of the year.

Jazz and Energy Solutions Center is 2006 Top Story #4

Finally all happy and all healthy, the Jazz were good to go right away in November. We all thought they would be better, but so good, so fast?

Mehmet Okur: "We're all happy, we're having fun so it's been great so far. Hopefully we're going to do what we've been doing all season so, we go from there."

Indeed they are, winning 12 of their first 13 games. That's something John and Karl never did. 12-1's the best start in franchise history, led by a couple of guys playing a little like John and Karl used to.

Carlos Boozer: "Another player like Darren that shares my same motivation to get to the playoffs. It makes our tandem even more special 'cause he's motivated to destroy his opponent; I'm motivated to destroy my opponent. Together we just try to wreak havoc on the league."

Then, Jazz owner Larry Miller seized the moment and his team's momentum, announcing the blockbuster name change

Larry Miller: "We are officially giving them credit for our 9-1 start, having injected the additional energy to our season this year, and so thanks for that Steve."

EnergySolutions used to be called "Eenvirocare". It's a Salt Lake based company specializing in low level radioactive and hazardous waste disposal.

Steve Creamer: "We're not the polluters, we're the guys who clean up and I've spent my entire career personally cleaning up America. And we plan to keep doing that."
