LEHI -- A Utah County man was in jail Friday morning for sexually abusing a child he was related to hundreds of times over a two-year period.
Police arrested Clifford Quinlan at the Salt Lake International Airport Thursday, after he flew in from out of state.
He's been charged with 190 counts of sodomy and 290 counts of aggravated sexual abuse of a child.
Investigators say the abuse took place from March 2005 to March 2007.
"It was happening up to once or twice a day, so that's why there are so many charges," says Lehi Police Sgt. Jeff Swenson.
Lehi police say this is one of the worst child abuse cases the city has ever seen.
The boy was 10 years old when the assaults started.
