Photo courtesy of Dan Smith It was a chilly morning drive for most commuters, but things got hot for the driver of a UPS truck this morning on a Utah interstate.
The truck was heading north on I-215 when the driver saw his check engine light come on.
Sgt. Glen Porter of the Utah Highway Patrol said, "He pulled over to the side and it began smoking. And then from there the flames started and it became fully engulfed."
The driver managed to get out of the truck and he will be fine.
Some of the packages suffered fire, smoke and water damage.
At this point officials believe something in the engine compartment caused the fire.
