OGDEN -- A 1-year-old girl has died in a drowning accident in the Ogden River.
Weber County sheriff's deputies tell the Deseret News the girl's family was swimming Sunday at Three Mile Bridge, which is near 2200 West and 12th Street, when they lost sight of the toddler around 3 p.m.
They found her floating in the water nearby. She was taken to Ogden Regional Medical Center but died at the hospital.
