(Photo courtesy Shake Your Peace)LOGAN -- Sometimes when rock bands travel through Utah they leave a mess behind, but one band is trying to be clean by getting around in an unusual way.
If you go to a Shake Your Peace concert sometime this month, don't mind the three people riding stationary bikes on stage. They're powering the band's PA system.
"We encourage the audience to jump on and get their workout for the day and power the next song with whatever they ate for dinner," explained band leader Gabe Dominguez.
You'll see a lot of bikes during their "Utahpia" tour. Dominguez says they'll be hauling all of their equipments on their bikes from Logan to Orem.
"Our major aim is to use public transportation, bicycling, walking and other forms of sustainable transportation," Dominguez said. This is the band's fourth bike tour/concert series in Utah. It will last through May 16. [Click here to see all the tour dates]
